Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

I’m back after a long hiatus.  Yup, still looking for love, but no dates in a while.  I’ve got lots to say, so I will be posting soon.  And, oh happy day!  Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!!

Raise a boombox for me

Last night I saw Peter Gabriel at the Hollywood Bowl.  I’ve waited 25 years to see this man play live, and it was one of the most amazing concerts ever.

For Peter’s last song “In Your Eyes”, John Cusack came onstage and handed Peter a boom box.  For those of you who don’t remember, John played a character named “Lloyd Dobler” in the movie “Say Anything”.  What a way to end the show.  A camera was able to catch John sitting backstage, and his face hit the big screen. The crowd went wild.

Since I’ve been reliving the concert from last night, it made me think how much I want a relationship in my life.  Even though I had a great time going with a girlfriend,  I look forward to sharing that kind of moment with a significant other. I want to know what it’s like to have someone so crazy for you. I want my man to raise a boombox for me!
